 Tai Lung was the first student of Master Shifu and formerly his adoptive son. He stumbled into the Jade Palace as a young snow leopard and had since been raised by Shifu who taught him all the means of Kung Fu in hope he would become the the prophesied Dragon Warrior. Tai Lung trained endlessly throughout the evolution of his life in hope of garnering the great power that the Dragon Scroll offered and becoming the Dragon Warrior; but Grand Master Oogway refused Tai Lung from being able to receive the Dragon Scroll for sensing darkness in his soul in the end. He ultimately laid siege to the palace and he tried to steal the scroll until he was paralyzed by Oogway and from there, he was sent off to Chorh-Gom Prison for 20 years in deprivation. Through the unfortunate aid of a single feather from Zeng, he was able to escape Chorh-Gom Prison, and then he set off on his journey to get back to the Valley of Peace and take on the alleged now-chosen Dragon Warrior. | |
